The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Memphis Chapter, one of 80 chapters in the U.S. with the non-profit mission to propel women entrepreneurs into economic, social, and political spheres of power, hosts “Women Mean Business in Family, Business, Volunteer, and Political Roles.”  This is a networking luncheon workshop featuring attorneys, Kristen Wright and Kathryn Walker, both with Bass, Berry & Sims.  Discussion topics include (1) Resolving Disputes, (2) Balancing Commitments, and (3) Building/Sustaining Professional Networks  The public is invited.  The community spotlight speaker is City of Memphis Mayor A.C. Wharton, Jr. discussing “State of the Loan Economy and How Women Can Participate.”

 

The event is Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at the Crescent Club, 6075 Poplar Ave # 909, 38119.  Registration starts at 11:15AM with luncheon and program from 11:45AM to 1PM.
